Once all three sections are complete, the quest will finish and you will have a fully furnished Dwarven house. Accessed by a Dwarven lift, the stairs from the entrance area lead down to a large suspended platform which lacks railings. This platform connects to a Dwemer building with a central room that branches into two balcony rooms to the northeast and northwest. The house was designed by Sumner Spaulding in 1933 in the style of a French chateau. It was built for engineer and contractor Lynn Atkinson,[3] who commissioned the property for his wife. She found it "pretentious", so the couple never lived there.[4] The house, located on 10 acres (4 hectares), with gardens designed by Henri Samuel, later was owned by Arnold Kirkeby and then Jerry Perenchio.
Features
The fireplace, made with dwarf steel bars, serves as a light source, and is supplemented by torches on the pillars in the corners of the room and dwarven chandeliers. The central table, and the wooden benches astride it, is always made of the same wood type used in the wall paneling. This table is always laden with food and drink, and the house's inhabitants, a male and female Dwarf, spawn in front of it. Between the table and the door is a carpet, which can be made of black, gray, or brown wool. Located down the stairway to the right, the bedroom is identical in structure to the kitchen but more sparsely decorated.
Hollyhock House
Heading south from here (back towards the entrance), you will pass through another room with some stone tables and a divider. The door to the smithy is closed, giving you an extra barrier against the three bandits. Nchuanthumz is an incredibly spacious underground home that comes with many amenities when fully furnished. However, it is left to you to restore the house to its former glory.

Armies of the West is an improvement submod for DaC, improving the Numenorean and some Elven units, as well as fix some errors in both scripts and models.In the future, there will be a port to MOS. Like many houses designed by Wright, Hollyhock House proved to be better as an aesthetic work than as a livable dwelling. Water tended to flow over the central lawn and into the living room, and the flat roof terraces were conceived without an understanding of Los Angeles's rains. The cantilevered concrete also did not stand up well to the area's earthquakes.
Nchuanthumz
Other Dwarven houses generate in a way that causes their edges to clip out of the mountainside. When this happens, the obtrusion is disguised by a glass mound, which makes the house less obvious but still possible to spot. Finally, if you listen closely while walking through the mountains, you might hear the roar of the fireplace, or the Dwarves walking within walking or drinking. Dwarven houses can be seen as a Dwarven equivalent to Hobbit holes, being standalone buildings with civilian inhabitants, food, crafting tables, and other general-purpose items.

Dwarven House - Fantasy Building
If you head back north, you will open the door to the master bedroom. The double bed is in fact functional, but another Skeever lurks down the hall to the left so you will likely not get any sleep just yet. The way to the manufactory is to go towards the Skeevers and back to the western (left-hand side) of the house to continue on.
The journal lists the items required to repair the assembly lines, with the required items being one Dwarven oil, three Dwemer cogs, and three Dwemer Actuators. You should already have one Dwemer Actuator from Artifacts’ own inventory; the other two are on the two tables on either side of the room, alongside the cogs and the oil. Collect all the required items and activate the Dwarven Sphere Overseer button. The quest markers will direct you to press either the right or left button to do so.
It’s only appropriate that this property was originally intended as a respite from work. It would stand as one of 34 individual homes known as the Warren Mews, and behind each front door would be a central staircase connecting three stories. Disillusioned by the costs of construction and maintenance, Barnsdall donated the house to the city of Los Angeles in 1927[8] under the stipulation that a fifteen-year lease be given to the California Art Club for its headquarters. The club was there until 1942 when the house was almost demolished.[9] The house has been used as an art gallery and as a United Service Organizations (USO) facility over the years. Beginning in 1974, the city sponsored a series of restorations, but the structure was damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
Quest Stages
This home has no exterior, with the front door opening out into Frostroot Cave. The doorway consists of typical Dwemer double doors, with Dwarven pipes and containers poking out of the snow and ice of the cave. Once you enter Nchuanthumz, head straight and deal with a few skeevers until you reach the lift to Nchuanthumz's Manufactory. Use the lift and then continue straight forward until you reach the corpse of Seeks-Ancient-Artifacts, examine the body to find a Dwemer Actuator and his second journal. All of the parts can be found in the Autumn's Bells section of Runoff Caverns, which is found deep inside, within the Dwarven ruins of Vardnknd. You will need to traverse the entirety of the Runoff Caverns section of the dungeon to reach the hub area at Vardnknd Gallery.
Despite her financial struggles, Britannia was able to keep Tudor Place and many of the artifacts passed down from her great-grandparents. The house and grounds were used as the temple of the Piranha Women in 1989's Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death. The split doors rest on pins and swing open easily despite their massive weight. Architect Charles Willard Moore once described the building as the "quintessential Hansel and Gretel house."[3] The residence appears in movies including 1995's Clueless.
Dwarven houses can be found all across the Iron Hills, where the Dwarven population is more scattered and rural than the one at Erebor. They generate in the sides of mountains, their entrances blending in with the stone. This can make them hard to spot, especially during the day; at night, the ithildin in their Dwarven Doors glows, but even then this only happens when players get close enough. On the tables to the left and right of Artifacts are several Cogs, Actuators, and units of Dwarven Oil that you can gather to meet the requirements of the next quest objective. Soul Gems, Ruined Books, two bowls, and a tankard are also present in this room.
These doors are inlaid with Ithildin, however, which makes them easier to find at night. Further ahead from the entrance hall, a Skeever already lies dead. The hallway turns left and then right again before the next set of doors. The next room is vacant apart from a shallow bathing pool on the left that is fed by a working fountain; this will become the children’s room. Should you take the opened hallway, you will pass a stone table on the right and go through another opened doorway, leading to a room north of the smithy with even thicker cobwebs. A trio of Skeevers lives here and will attack you once they detect you.
Hollyhock House features an entertainment room immediately to the right of the entrance. This room contains possibly the first built-in entertainment center, complete with LP-sized cabinets along the floor. Other notable rooms include a child's play area as well as a modernist kitchen, which long housed the museum gift shop. Opening the door of a Dwarven house for the first time can grant the player the achievement "Mellon", provided they have not interacted with player-made Dwarven doors before. Three buttons on the console in front of Artifacts serve different purposes during restorations.

The Dumbarton House, located in Georgetown, is one example of women preserving historic sites in the capital city. Artifacts died before he could revive the Manufactory, but the instructions he left will direct you to press the left or right button on the console and summon the Dwarven Sphere Overseer. Artifacts’ directions give you the list of items that the Overseer will need to reactivate the Manufactory. After this part of the quest is finished, the Manufactory has no further use.

Pressing either the left or right button once will summon the Dwarven Sphere Overseer, while the central button revives the Manufactory with a grinding of gears as the house shakes. The Dwarven Sphere Overseer will emerge from the scuttle on the right side of the room. Follow the Dwarven Sphere Overseer and give it the repair parts by interacting with it.
